How Meno works

From a campus to a short list in three steps.

  1. Step 1

    Say what fits you

Pick your campus and budget. Add your longest commute, who you will live with and your home country if you want to. No account needed.

  2. Step 2

    See who rated each place

Every place shows how many of its reviews come from students in a situation like yours, not just a star average.

  3. Step 3

Read each review with its context

Every review carries what the student paid, how long the commute was and who they lived with, so you can judge how much it applies to you.

Four facts that change what a review means

The same room is a bargain for one student and a stretch for another. Meno keeps these four facts attached to every review.

  • Budget

What the reviewer paid each month, shown as a band. The exact amount stays private.

  • Commute

Door-to-door minutes to the campus the reviewer went to, and how they travelled.

  • Community presence

Whether reviewers noticed residents from a particular country: none, some or many. Some students look for that and others avoid it, so Meno shows it as a plain fact, never as a score.

  • Living arrangement

Solo, with a roommate, with friends or with a partner. A studio feels different when it is shared.

Honest by design

Three rules Meno keeps, even when there is little data.

  • Verification you can see

Every review shows whether the stay was checked. Unverified reviews stay visible and labelled, so you decide how much weight to give them.

  • No invented numbers

If nobody has rated something, you see a dash and the reason. Never a placeholder score.

  • Never a dead end

When no review matches your fit exactly, Meno widens the search one step at a time and tells you which step it took.

Why Meno exists

A star average says a place is good. It does not say good for whom.

Students in Thailand mostly rent condos and apartments, on very different budgets and at very different distances from campus. Meno exists so every student can decide with information that fits their own situation, from students who have lived there.

  • Relevance

Reviews from students in a situation like yours come first.

  • Transparency

The context behind every review is always on show.

  • Shared experience

Written by students, to help the next student decide.
